Cruises from Dover

Dover is the second busiest cruise port in the UK serving 200,000 cruise passengers a year. The Cruise Port facilities are located in Dover's Western Docks with two dedicated terminals. Cruise Terminal 1 opened in 1996 having been converted from a Victorian railway station and Cruise Terminal 2 in 2000, a sleek, modern building purpose-built cruise terminal providing every modern convenience.

Significant investment in recent years means Dover now has state of the art facilities, excellent modern transport links and award winning customer service. It has car parking for over 1100 cars, porters to assist with baggage handling, cafes and shuttle buses to both the town centre and historic castle.

Cruise passenger car parking

Save time and avoid any queues by booking your car parking quickly and easily with our secure, on-line car parking reservation system.

Within minutes you'll have reserved your car parking space close to the Cruise Terminal buildings so when you arrive, simply hand your baggage to a porter and you can begin your holiday calm and relaxed and ready for your cruise.

Important: Dover Cruise Port will not be able to guarantee car parking spaces during peak months (July, August & September) to customers who have not pre-booked. We therefore recommend you book your cruise car parking space as early as you can to avoid disappointment. At certain times during peak periods, alternative car parking on other Dover Harbour Board sites will be available to passengers in addition to the Cruise Terminal parking.

The port serves a broad range of cruise lines including Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Holland America Line and NCL.
